Candice has focused its research on themes relating to the
endless forms of camouflage and its deep connection to
nature, as well as its relativity to human emotions. Trickery,
mimicry, disguise and deception run throughout the SS25
collection, which adopts a title to tell a story of dishonesty from
a distance. Natural beauties and near-magical phenomena
of morphing patterns, adapting textures, and merging
colours are constant reference points throughout the range.
Colour, shape, and imagery paired with textured fabrics,
washing techniques, and bold graphic usage create a dramatic
experience reflecting the visual beauty and complexity that
is camouflage. Design elements are applied to garments
using techniques of print, embroidery, appliqué, patchwork,
and less-conventional stitching and graphic placements.
